Sober Living in the Country

Eligible applicants are persons who have successfully completed at least 28 to 30-day (or more) residential chemical dependency treatment program. Ideally, our clients would plan to come directly from the treatment center into sober living, preferably the same day unless circumstances call for a brief time in between leaving the treatment center and entering sober living. Any substance use between leaving treatment and entering sober living would mean relapse has occurred and in those cases, an assessment would be needed before entering sober living to plan further treatment.

Sober living centers are primarily for those who have come to realize that they may need more T-I-M-E to stabilize in their new recovery lifestyle while they practice what they have learned in treatment, obtain gainful employment, and in many cases, distance themselves from people, places and things that may cause problems in their recovery. Sober living centers offer structure, safety, peer support, accountability, life-skill building, and socializing with others serious about their recovery. We ask for (and expect) a commitment of a minimum of a 6 month stay. Clients are welcome to stay up to 2 years in our program.
